5 FRIENDS, 1 MISSION

We are a collective of five friends in our 20s who share a deep obsession with high-performance engineering and the raw thrill of the track. While we might have "Children With Adult Money," we treat every build and every race with the same level of technical precision. Whether we're modifying the car in the driveway or pushing the limits on the track, we all contribute to everything. This is where passion meets performance.

Sam

Sam is a Dutch automotive enthusiast and entrepreneur with a strong passion for Japanese cars, classic automotive culture, and hands-on engineering. From a young age, he developed a deep appreciation for unique and iconic Japanese vehicles. This passion is reflected in his own collection, which includes a Lexus LS400, a classic Honda Civic, and a vintage Toyota HiAce.

While he enjoys all aspects of automotive culture, Sam’s main interest lies in working on cars himself. He spends much of his free time maintaining, modifying, and improving his vehicles, with a particular focus on his 1989 Civic project. James

James is a 21-year-old Dutch mechanical engineer with a strong hands-on approach to solving problems and a natural interest in how things work. His passion for cars came later in life, but grew quickly: a loud Ford Focus lit the fuse, and buying a blue Audi TT together with four friends turned it into something serious.

A self-taught mechanic, James learned everything through YouTube, research and trial and error, from welding and bodywork to replacing the head gasket on the TT. He is currently working on a full restoration on some his own cars.

Within CWAM Motorsport, one of the five friends behind the team, James prefers to stay behind the scenes. He works on the car as a mechanic, researches parts, suppliers and modifications, and is building the team's website and merchandise. He doesn't drive; his enjoyment comes from the building, the problem solving, and the fun we have as a team and as friends.

Outside the workshop, James plays basketball and is a musician, playing several instruments and producing his own music. Whether it is a car, a website or a track, he would rather let the finished work speak than stand in front of it.
